New World Order

Just listened to old John Hagee’s Sunday sermon. I used to not like him as he yells. These days I know we all need yelled at….some more than others. Been listening to lots of sermons on line these days as we are staying close to home with Covid fairly heavy in our area and our ages. And I cannot believe I just said that!

Anyway back to Hagee. He has grown on me. He seems to be the only one preaching to TODAY and has been for a while now….So many churches have all these pastors and someone different preaches often. This old fella has survived covid and still stands in the pulpit (they have added “walker-type” rails for him to grab hold) but he preaches and preaches….while those much younger can only preach once a month or so…..

The 10th of January part of his text was from Revelation, and as always I learned some new things from him. But for today be reminded of this as the Antichrist is spoken about….

“5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. Revelation 13 5-9

By this point, the church has been raptured and John of Revelation speaks of the Antichrist. Time is coming for us to talk about him. The time is drawing closer. Are you ready? If not find a Christian and learn how to be out of here before the Antichrist makes his appearance in leadership.

A New Year

And a new challenge. I am trying to figure out blogging and allowing folks to post comments. Please bear with me. Many of you know I have this address who know me so if you can attempt to post a comment, I would appreciate so I can figure out how to open lines of communication still!

What a Ride 2020 was.

Well as I said what a ride 2020 was and it does not look like an improvement in 2021.

Just visited with a friend trying to get the over 65 Covid vaccine in Oklahoma, and there are no slots in 100 mile radius of Muskogee available for January or February. Yet Biden says he is going to give out 100 million doses in his first 100 days to all ages and add in 18-55 thereby possibly using up the doses available for the more at risk over 65 group to get their second shot or even start their first in the series? Almost all deaths have been in the above 65 group with the more elevated ages even higher such as over 80.

My friends know that I have deleted my facebook account, my instagram account and my twitter account. I had hoped to use Parler but now Amazon has censored and removed them from their servers. For those of you who did not support Section 230, it was just for things as this. Big Tech needs to be filed with anti-trust suits and broken up. They are far larger than ATT was when it was broken up previously.

With Covid shutdowns closing small mom and pop stores, soon the only available places to purchase will be walmart, amazon, sams, costco, etc.

I am currently on MeWe (sort of), GAB, and Clouthub. I think I can be found @baw53 on all or at least baw53. I am thinking GAB is gonna be my favorite but I am in a learning curve with all. I like them much better than Facebook. I did pay for a membership with GAB just to help keep them going with all that is going on with removal of conservative alternatives to Big Tech censors. So far there are no ad feeds on these social media sites.

I also suggest to friends that you switch search engines to Duck Duck Go. It does not trace or follow you. I also suggest it as your default browser on iPhone and iPad…. Again there is a little curve but it will be good for your brain to learn something new!

If you have Netflix I urge you to watch The Social Dilemma. You will view tech in an entirely new way. It is a MUST watch really especially if you have children and grands. Tech is affecting our brains in ways that are not good and were not intentional or even known at the inception of home computers.

Looks like it will be another interesting week.

Patience

Computers have an excellent method to try your patience.  They are so difficult to navigate.  I have been at this hobby now for lots of years...since the mid 90's of last century!  Wow that sounds like I should be a real expert.  Not.  It seems that computers are probably more logical than I; every time I actually do work something out it seems to make sense but it is never my first attempt. I chose patience as my first blog post because attempting to do web pages is just as trying as computers or even more so.  I must admit much of the task of getting a page "up" have been simplified but the task of building the page always involves learning new software.  That is when the patience must come in.

Many of the things we do in this life take patience nowadays.  It seems life used to be much more simple. Now everything is made simpler by computers yet complicated by computers.  Medication bottles are difficult to open, catsup must have the seal removed, and everything it seems must have a password.  A different password.  A password of different configuration from every site. A unique password.  There is that patience coming in again.  I have like 5 pages of handwritten passwords...

So, computers are either great tools for you to learn about Jesus or they are a terrible waste of time. They are an excellent way to keep up with old friends or again, they are a terrible waste of time.  So after you get that patience thing down, be sure that they aren't just a waste of time.  Use the tools available and there will be links onsite for some of the best tools and links out there.
